Elyse Lim

Before our family added a little one to our tribe, I had the absolute privilege of directing a high school band program for seven years. Since then, I started to realize the value I could offer to other professionals by partnering with them in their vision and helping grow their businesses. Running an organization of over 200 students (plus several hundred parents) helped me to hone my administrative skills, and now I am thrilled to serve our community in a new way by offering streamlined support to professionals, opening up their time and energy for what matters most to them.

On the whole, I specialize in administrative support, customer support, project management, and data & research. At Pecan Counseling, my goal is to be a warm and welcoming voice who supports clients through the intake process, offers timely communication, and provides an easy-to-navigate system before and after each therapy session. A teacher at heart, I am grateful to get to support excellent therapists such as Lindsey and Laurel who share my own passion of helping people grow.

In my spare time, you’ll find me taking my son and dog (Hazelnut) for a jog by the river, playing board games with my husband, playing hymns on the piano, teaching flute lessons, or doing my very best to learn a little Korean! I also love some good swing dancing and kickboxing when I get the chance - not at the same time though. :)
