Laurel is a passionate and educated therapist, that brings both life experience and clinical skills to help those she works with. Laurel has a passion for trauma recovery, and often uses EMDR to help her clients process past traumatic memories. She is practical and unbiased in how she offers guidance, and has a genuine heart to help. She loves working with couples, and partners with them to find solution and strategies for growth. Laurel values engaging her clients, and has a witty, and perceptive style as a therapist. She values teaching couples strategies for communicating and connecting on a deeper level, and working through conflict that may be taught to do so on their own.
Laurel pursued a career in counseling after raising her children alongside her husband. Her world travel and life experience add to her skillset as a therapist and points to her love of helping others heal, as being a therapist has been a dream and passion of hers for many years.
Outside of the office, you'll find Laurel munching on a something delicious from CAVA. She has a great sense of humor, and you'll often find her cracking up with other therapists as she loves to find joy in life.
